Gerd Schön, who passed away on Nov. 29, 2024, was a world-renowned scientist who contributed to various fields of quantum solid-state physics. He also mentored a school of PhD students and postdocs who now occupy leading positions in academia and industry. This workshop will cover subjects related to Gerd’s research as well as contemporary topics.

The workshop will start on Wednesday, 18.02.2026, in the morning and last until Friday, 20.02.2026, early afternoon. The workshop dinner will take place on Thursday evening.

Please register before 15. November 2025. Later registrations will be considered depending on capacities.

There is no registration fee. We ask that participants arrange and cover their own travel and lodging. A list of recommended hotels can be found below.

Limited funds for supporting travel costs in exceptional cases are available. Please indicate this need in the comment box of the registration form.
