Abstract

I will present our results on using quantum circuits, a specific type of tensor networks, to simulate many-body localized systems in one and two dimensions. While in the latter case many-body localization might not be stable, our results are consistent with experiments indicating many-body localized behavior on observable time scales. I will also give an outlook on using quantum circuits to classify symmetry-protected topological many-body localized phases and to rigorously demonstrate their stability.
